Re: Your Favourite Bat?
Not all puma`s are light. Remember all bats come in different weights.

Most Puma's are very light compared to bats lke Woodworm and alo of Gray Nicholls which in my opinion are very heavy bats.

Re: Your Favourite Bat?
Most bats range from 2.6/7 right up to 2.13.Maybe its the pickup what makes it feel lighter.

Ye probobly, and although i find most Gray Nicholls are heavy the pick up on most are great and is easy to give full blown swing to the ball.

Re: Your Favourite Bat?

Re: Your Favourite Bat?
i cant believe know has mentioned a hunts county on here yet, they are beautiful bats with ther middles in the perfect position for english pitches, unlike australian made bats on which the middles are far too high. the pick is perfect and so is the balance and feel of the bat, its very graceful unlike some woorworms and kookaburras which are just for sloggers who dont play real cricket shots

yeah to be honest im not really proud of the fact that my bat is endorsed by monty, he isnt really known for his amazing batting is he?
anyway, i dunt blame you for getting a kookaburra, u hav to go with what you are comfortable with, just generally, i find, the middles on kookaburras are too high.

Ye they are very good looking bats and for me i look at a players bat and think boy that is one nice bat, he must be good using one of them and just puts it in your mind that you need to be on your game. But it just gives a little pshycoligical boost for a batsmen with a nice bat in my opinion.

Exactly
yea because if u miscue a drive or a shot chances are with a better bat it might go over them. With a more average bat it might reach a fielder.
