Gilly retires Empty Gilly retires

Just after breaking the world record for dismissals the great Adam Gilchrist retired from all of cricket. One of the best batsmen and keepers of the past decade, shasming records here there and every where. His flamboyish batting, huge character and the famous line ' Bowling Shane ' will never be forgotten by any cricket fans. Personally i loved it whenever he batted i will never forget that innings in the 06/07 ashes when i just woke up to see him come to the crease and he was smashing panesar and harmison all over the park, even though i was English i didnt want it to stop it was just something unique.

Gilchrist will obviously have a huge reception when he comes to the crease, tommorow probobly and will have a farewell similiar to Langer, Mcgrath and Warne had.

Truly thank you Gilchrist as cricket wouldnt be what it is today if it wernt for you.
