India may have thought that they had they edge heading into day 3 with 526 runs scored in there first innings but Australia again dominated. Jaques and Ponting both hit 50's but the star of the innings so far was Matty Hayden who hit a patient 103 for his 3oth Test match century. If India are going to level series they have alot of work to do.
