Hogg Also Charged For Making Offensive Comments

Brad Hogg, the Australian chinaman bowler, has been charged under Level 3 of the ICC Code of Conduct following a complaint by Indian team manager Chetan Chauhan. Hogg was accused of making an offensive remark to Anil Kumble and Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the second Test in Sydney.

Mike Procter, the match referee at the SCG, set January 14 as the date for the preliminary hearing. If found guilty, Hogg could be banned for two to four Tests or for eight one-day internationals.

This is truly pathetic why cricketers have recently had to swoop so low and start insulting the opposition is beyond me and it is totally uneccesary to do so.

Ye Lol Bucknor has been dropped as the umpire aswell, this series is turning into a shambles after what should have been the best series since the Ashes back in 05.

yes it was the most hyped ( bar the ashes 06/07 which was a complete flop) up series and it was between the world ODI champions and T20 champions which added to the hype. What do you think has been the best series since the Ashes 05? This certainly should have been.

Just cause its the most hyped doesn`t mean its the best.

yes i said it SHOULD have been the best because these are definitly the two best test playing nations in the world at the moment.
